There are three airports on Eleuthera (North Eleuthera,
Governor's Harbor, and Rock Sound).

Airline connections are as below; flight time from Miami is about 55 minutes, and flights are DIRECT to Eleuthera;. Flights from Ft. Lauderdale stop in Nassau, and you must take a Bahamas Air Flight from there (consult links). .
FROM FT. LAUDERDALE TO NORTH ELEUTHERA:
Island Express has a daily flight from Ft. Lauderdale to North Eleuthera
Lynx Air is based in Ft. Lauderdale, and flies to Governor's Harbor on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. To check schedules, Click here
"If you have time to spare, fly Bahamas Air!!" There are 5 flights/day from Miami to Nassau; at 8:30
a.m., 11:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
There are two flights/day from Nassau to Governor's Harbor, at 6:30
a.m., and 6:15 p.m. And, there are two flights a day from Nassau to Rock
Sound at 8:30 a.m., and 3:15 p.m
But, BEWARE, flight times have been known to change, so check with
BahamasAir beforehand

From Freeport, Grand Bahama, you can take a direct flight on Majors Airline from Freeport to North Eleuthera, or Governor's Harbour
Spirit Air can get you to Ft. Lauderdale at a good rate from Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Providence, and Washington
Once you got to Ft. Lauderdale, you can get to Eleuthera via Continental, Twin Air, U.S. Air.
Song Air flies to Ft. Lauderdale from Atlanta, Boston, Hartford, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, and Newark.

Jet Blue starts an exciting new service on November 1st, 2004 with direct flights from New York to Nassau at great rates.
A new, exciting development is the employment of The Bahamas Fast Ferry, a fast boat that goes from Nassau to North Eleuthera and Harbor Island, as well as Nassau to Governor's Harbor, in about 2 hours. Check their site for schedules, etc.
