The ceremony can be performed on the beach pictured in the background, or on the deck attatched to the cottage, overlooking Long Pond on one side, and the ocean on the other.
Another possibility is to have the marriage ceremony performed on the sundeck of the Sunset Inn, in Governor's Harbor.
Or, if you prefer a church ceremony, there are three churches from which you can choose, in Governor's Harbor, Tarpon Bay, and Rock Sound.
Whichever setting you select, you can acquire the services and talents of a locally well-known marriage officer, Rev. Sands of Palmetto Point, who is a trained, ordained, christian member of the clergy, empowered to perform weddings for individuals from all over-seas origins and major religious denominations. An alternative to Rev. Sands is Lewton Neilly of Spanish Wells.
All weddings solemnized according to the Marriage Act of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (Chapter 106, Section 19-schedule G) are legal and internationally recognized.
